The James Bradberry IV Foundation was proud to partner with Title Sponsor, County Commissioner Sheila Tyson, to host the Alabama Black Youth Vote Forum on Friday, April 11, 2025, at the Birmingham SportsPlex. This impactful event brought together high school students from across Commissioner Tyson’s district for a powerful afternoon of lunch and life lessons with current and retired NFL players. These athletes shared meaningful insights on character, priorities, and becoming engaged, responsible citizens. As an affiliate of the National Black Youth Vote initiative, this forum supported a movement that has, for over 20 years, equipped young leaders with the tools to promote civic engagement and social justice in the Black community. The event underscored our commitment to inspiring Alabama’s youth to participate in democracy and shape a better future.
