James Bradberry IV: Impacting Football, Family and the Community
Philadelphia Eagles Defensive Back James Bradberry IV. In 2022, James helped the Eagles win the NFC Championship and was voted to second team All-Pro. He leads all NFL players with 85 passes defended since the 2018 campaign. In 2023, James started all 17 contests and posted 44 tackles, a team-leading 17 passes defended (3rd in the NFL), three interceptions, and two tackles for losses. He became the first Eagle with 17+ passes defended in a season since Patrick Robinson in 2017 (18) and had the 3rd lowest opponent passer rating (55.9) in the NFL (min. 50 targets). (Bradberry, James – Eagles Media Center, n.d.) Selected by the Carolina Panthers in the 2nd round, the 62nd pick, of the 2016 NFL Draft.

Off the field, James enjoys being a father to his daughter, Xena, working on his golf game, and enjoying music. James is also very involved in the community and strives to be a role model to young men. In Philadelphia, he has supported the Covenant House New Jersey and the Arthritis Foundation in honor of his late grandmother through the NFL’s My Cleat My Causes campaign, a guest speaker at the Memphis Street Academy (Philadelphia, PA) and a part of the Read Across America campaign at East Ward Elementary (Downingtown, PA). Continuing to honor his late grandmother, James, partnered with his sponsor, HOKA, in donating shoes to residents at Simpson House, a local senior care facility. Most recently, he hit the runway in the Fashion Touchdown 2023 event to raise funds for the Big Brother Big Sisters Independence organization.

Philadelphia Eagles cornerback James Bradberry IV, through the James Bradberry IV Foundation, brought the spirit of giving to North Birmingham’s Salvation Army this Thanksgiving. With a heart for community, he served warm meals to families and gifted presents to children, spreading holiday cheer to those in need. Major Karen L. of the Salvation Army expressed deep gratitude, emphasizing how his generosity brings hope and a sense of belonging to families working toward a fresh start. More than just a star on the field, Bradberry continues to uplift and empower his community, proving that true greatness extends beyond the game.

Brother Let's Talk - Mental Health Support
Brother Let’s Talk is an organization established by mental health experts, professionals, and the community to address concerns about anger, stress, grief, and suicide experienced by men of color. It is a discussion series facilitated by Men of Color Experts, Professionals, and the community coming together . BLT is here to help men take control of their mental health. James had a desire to support this organization and its initiative in 2024. And since then, he is looking forward to working with BLT and its members to further this program and generate awareness to identify the stigmas of men of color and to seek help for resources that are available in the community.
